Benefits of a Heat Pump:
- Installation of a heat pump makes the home owner eligible for a Small Scale Technology Certificate (STC) incentive payment (Eligibility criteria applies)
- Heat Pumps can reduce energy use and green house emissions similar to Solar Hot Water Systems
- No need for solar panels to be installed on the roof, so no additional load on your roof
- STC can be claimed as a reduction on your invoice (dependant upon your installer)
- Heat Pumps can use the same plumbing and electrical connections (Australian Standards do apply, and upgrades may be required if the system does not comply)
